Thanks to everyone for your contributions to a great Show. I figured around 200 were there and they enjoyed a fine performance. Full Effect, even with a fill-in baritone of some repute, was great! All of our Quartets did outstand-ing work and the Chorus really came through learning our numbers, although it sure took a while. Wendell hauled the riders, Pete pulled everything together, Ron fed us and Jimmy directed us admirably. Thanks also to our annual Christmas time singers who joined us for the Show.
Hope to see as many as possible this Tuesday and Thursday as we close out the Holiday season. If you are going Caroling Friday, sing pretty. No meeting until next year on the 4th. Until then, KTTWS! SteveG
Show Chairman (Continued) |
Although our audience size was down somewhat from past shows, they produced enthusiastic applause for each of our songs performed. As stated, this show was a fundraiser for the local charity, The Candlelighters. We will be donating the proceeds at a later date once we get all monies in.
Last but not least, a BIG thank you to all who participated and sang and/or had a job of some sort that made this event happen. It takes everyone whether just singing or selling/taking tickets or doing media communicating or even directing! Thanks from the show Chairman, Pete Jones
