Let me officially thank everyone who made our recent Christmas Show a success. Hope you are all enjoying this end of year down time before we step into 2023! Our first meeting will be Thursday, January 5th at Ponders. We have Singing Valentines in February, Spring Contest in March (somewhere in the South, I hear), and hopefully our Annual Show makes a reappearance this year; so come ready to dig in and make things happen. Happy New Year to everyone ??!! Until next year, KTTWS! SteveG
The chapter Program VP is responsible for what the chapter does during rehearsals. What does the membership want to tell me about rehearsal time last year? What should we do less? More? New? Please advise ASAP by email (plslack@comcast.net) or phone call (423-504-5848). Thanks. Bill
From The Business Manager |
Just wanted to say thanks to those who participated in the chorus activities this year, i.e. sing outs, contest and show. Even though we lost out on the rest of the road scholar events, I think we were still pretty active with other performances. Our Christmas show drew a decent crowd of about 220 people and when the board meets next, we will decide on the $ amount for the charity. It is a pleasure to sing with the chorus and also to fill the position of Business Manager. Looking forward to another active year. Pete
For The Good Of The Chapter |
We had a nice Christmas get-together at Farm-to-Fork (see photograph above). The food was good and plenty, the fellowship was great, and the songs were, as always, great. District Past President Paul Wietlisbach's installation of the officers was unique and also great too! Well, I guess you could say everything was great! BarryO
