June 15 was the Army’s Birthday and Jimmy put together a quartet to sing the National Anthem at Mission BBQ at noon. There was a veteran there who was celebrating his 99th birthday. He served in WWII in the Army and in the Korean War in the Air Force, and there were a number of Army personnel there to celebrate his birthday. He said that he couldn’t fit into his old Army uniform, but what he did have on was his Air Force one piece nylon airman’s uniform. I took the photograph. DaveF [Editor's Note: Nice photo, Dave]
