Script For Thursday's Meeting |
7:00 PM - Meeting at Ponders.
What an enjoyable weekend. Most of the Chorus was able to support all events and we sang pretty well to again garner Most Improved Chorus and a 2nd place finish Saturday morning. Great work by everyone!
There’s a quiet time ahead as the Board agreed to not put on an annual show in 2024, but that doesn’t mean we are slacking off. The Music Team will be presenting the feedback from the Judges and plans to make us sound even better! Don’t step away now! Until our rehearsal, KTWWS! Steve Grubb
Wow! You guys sang your hearts out this past Saturday! You can be proud of what you put on the stage! Statistically speaking our scores were similar to this past fall, although slightly lower. Our music and singing scores both average over 70. Both songs had music and singing scores from 69-72. Performance was our lowest average category with a 67.8.
This gives us some clear direction on what we can work on moving forward. Our desire is to perform in a way that tells our audience a very clear message. So we'll begin to work more on connecting the story better amongst ourselves so that we can be clearer in our overall communication to our audience!
I do sincerely appreciate everyone of you and what you did this past weekend! I look forward to continuing this journey with you! Jimmy Tompkins
