Things are beginning to take shape for this year’s Show. If you’re not involved already, step up and join the party! Off the music by our upcoming Monday night meeting would be great! We have two performances after the Show on the 11th, for MOAA on the 14th and Garden Plaza on the 18th. At present, we are not planning any more Thursday rehearsals after the Show until January 2022. See everyone Monday night! Until then, KTTWS! SteveG
From The Publicity & Marketing VP (Continued) |
We have a new agreement with Warren & Griffin. In the past, our quartets earned $50 singing for each client - this brought in $1,300 for the 26 stops last Valentines. Now, we will sing for free, while W&G will buy a block of 10 tickets for each client at the discount price of $10. So, for the 28 stops we expect, we will take in $2,800 instead of $1,400. This is really a win to the 4th power! Mark is delighted to offer so much more for his clients, the clients will be happy, this is another $1,400 for Candlelighters and we like it with at least another 300 in attendance! A Big Thanks to the Quartets able to sing on Friday the 10th!!
We have a base of over 400 seats already filled. What does each member need to contribute to achieve our sellout?? Please do all you can, by:
Selling Tickets - buy for your family, then encourage extended family, friends, neighbors, and even church goers after the service to buy tickets. Emphasize that we are singing better than ever and that we have 14 members who are International Gold Medalist Singers! The Show also includes some very talented invited quartets!
Sending our Show information to all of your local email contacts, posting on Facebook and elsewhere. The same will be on our Website, Candlelighters and W&G.
Selling ads in our Show Program. Talk to any service or company that you personally use. You may be surprised in a good way. The worst that can happen is a no. Contact Charlie Holder for details and to post your ad.
Placing Posters all over town - especially the Ringgold area. Good choices include large food store employee break rooms, dry cleaners, Great Clips, liquor stores, workout places and more.
Other efforts:
Pete is investigating the possibility of a Quartet singing on the radio. The same on a TV channel is a possibility.
I will check with The Chattanooga Times Free Press for possible publicity.
What else can we do? Don't be shy with new ideas! RichW
