Chapter Meeting, Thursday, December 9, 7 PM.This meeting is in person at Ponders

Christmas Show, Saturday, December 11, Arrive at 2 PM to sing at 4:00 PM. Ringgold High School Auditorium. Outfit: Black from the waist down. For Part 1, something Christmassy above and for Part 2, white shirt and a Christmas tie.

MOAA, Tuesday, December 14, Arrive at 6 PM to sing at 7:00. Walden Club, Outfit: Black from the waist down and something Christmassy above.

Garden Plaza, Saturday, December 18, Arrive at 12 PM to sing at 2:00. Outfit: Black from the waist down and something Christmassy above.

Down the Stretch They Come! We’re almost at the finish line to what I’m sure will be a great entertaining presentation. Keep pounding words and notes and selling those tickets. Let’s end the year on a really high note. Since this next meeting will be our last of the year, plan accordingly if you contribute when the basket is passed. Until Thursday, KTTWS. SteveG

Thank you again for a great evening of focus and preparation! We did miss several of you but look forward to seeing ALL of you this week.

OUTFIT CHANGE:
We will wear black from the waist down on both halfs of the show.
First half the top will be a Christmas shirt or sweater, something festive. What I have seen in pictures from the past that you have worn should be fine. If you're in doubt about whether what you have in mind will work, bring it Thursday.
Second half we will wear a white dress shirt with a Christmas tie. I think this will give us a more formal look and make the second half a bit more special. We will have time to change at the intermission. The band room is located just off of stage left and has plenty of room for us to put our stuff in. If you have extra Christmas ties please bring them on Thursday AND/OR Saturday. If you need one let me know ASAP.

We are NOT singing "Joy to the World." I will be leading the audience in that song to start the 2nd half of the show.

The first half of the show will be on the floor, as we practiced last night. We will need to stage this when we arrive on Saturday. (Arrival time has been adjusted to no later than 1:45 pm so that we can start ON STAGE at 2:00 pm. PLEASE BE ON TIME, we will not have time to waist) If you want to arrive at 1:00 pm and help with stage setup you are welcome to do so.

SELL TICKETS:
This looks to be a great show. Do your part and get folks here. Offer to buy their ticket, if they will commit to come. We want to give our gift to as many people as possible.

Work extra on the words for "Happy Holidays". It seemed to be tripping some of you up lat night.

Watch for any other emails this week. As I think of other things that will help us I will pass them on. See you Thursday!
