A new year is upon us and there is much to do! It is my hope that we all stay healthy (already a challenge for me!) and return to our normal activities within the District and Society. That means Singing Valentines, Spring & Fall Competitions, two Shows performed and the resumption of local performances for AL’s/NH’s, Veteran’s and Military organizations and other various groups throughout the Chattanooga area. In other words, let’s KTTWS! SteveG
We had a great kick off to our Spring season last night. We know that some of you were unable to come because of the weather, but we still had over 20 in attendance.
We did introduce a new song last night, "Let the Rest of the World Go By." It is a great ballad that I believe you guys will sing extremely well! Our plan is to work on it right now with the intention of singing it in our district Spring contest in March. The other contest song will most likely be "Let's Get Away from it All" (The Spring convention is in Alabaster, AL on March 25-27, 2022)
The PDF and learning tracks can be downloaded NOW on the following page:

Please begin working on this song NOW. Our target for "off the music" is the first Thursday in February, the 3rd. Make this your goal as well. Of course the sooner we all get off of the music the better the song will be!
As I stated last night, contest is the end goal for us. It is a means to give us an avenue to get better and enjoy the fellowship of many others in our district. As we prepare for contest we hope to install patterns and habits that will make everything we sing that much better!
I hope to see YOU this coming Thursday, January 13th. As always let me know if you have any questions. Jimmy
