The turn out for polecat practice was outstanding! We’ll repeat this Thursday, 6:30. We’ll find a better room also. Bring polecat 1 book, pick a part, and join us! Bill
I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on February 27, 1951. My musical experience consisted of three years playing a cornet in my junior high and high school bands. I learned to read music back then, but that particular skill has since escaped me.
I worked for NASA for 25 years, on several types of subject matter, including guidance software, environmental definition for the James Webb telescope, and high-speed impact simulation. I retired at the end of 2015.
During 2017 music and I made a fresh acquaintance, as my soon-to-be fiancé, Deb Bishop and I drove to Upstate New York on a couple of trips to care for her father, Reyn Smith, a nonagenarian of many talents, including spontaneously bursting into song. Deb and I found we could harmonize, and so the trip seemed a lot less long.
Deb is a member of Scenic City Chorus. I am impressed with the talent these singers bring to the risers. We visited a couple of rehearsals of Choo Choo Chorus, and thereafter I joined. It’s rather an experiment. We’ll see if I have a talent to improve.
