It was great having three younger guys on the risers with us last week. Our Lead section had some folks MIA and trust everyone is back with us this week. Don’t let Fall Competition sneak up on you! Plan to attend and get registered before the early bird deadline.
It’s that time of year to put forth a slate of Officers for 2023. May I encourage you to consider serving your chapter through this means? Some serving now are going to be stepping away and we need men to come forward and help out NOW. Ask not what your chapter can do for you but what YOU can do for your chapter! Until next week, KTTWS! My name is Seth Jackson, I'm 16, and I'm a Junior at CCA (Chattanooga High Center for Creative Arts). I love group singing as well as solo singing. I've been performing musically since I was 8 or 9. I first got involved with music when I joined the Chattanooga Boys Choir, which I have been part of for the past eight years. Shortly after joining that I took up piano lessons and love playing the instrument. Just recently I joined the CCA jazz band on piano.
Music really has become important these past three years of my life because I've had so many opportunities opened to me. I started singing in three of my school's choral ensembles. Those are the Concert choir, men's ensemble, and the jazz ensemble. In addition I've also taken up a role as worship leader in my church's student worship band. The Choo Choo Chorus is my first experience with barbershop singing and I am very excited to see how it goes!
