A HUGE thank you to Ron Weaver and others who came last Thursday and had some time singing together! My voice seems to be almost back completely, and I should be fine this Thursday. One of the things we generally try to work on during the summer is fundamentals. Each week is important as we build on last week. (You get bonus points if you can name more than 3 of the Ten Expectations of a Champion that we've been looking through)
Also, we need to keep improving our repertoire numbers so that we can be ready at any moment to perform them. I'll see YOU Thursday! Jimmy Tompkins
Ten dedicated members showed for a relaxed meeting. We also had a Guest, who said he'd be back next Thursday. We had a little warm-up and casual choral singing, some singing knowledge shared, a little barbershop history, a famous barbershopper's Pitch Pipe was given to a deserving member, and the best event of the night? Krispy Kreme Donuts at Break!
Thanks to the men who showed! I hope you left with something good for your efforts! Ron WEaver (The "WE" is capped for a reason!)
