Need Backstage Volunteers |
Gentlemen, I need help backstage at the Convention at Silverdale. If we don’t do a good job conducting the Friday and Saturday Contests, it embarrasses this proud chorus, and a poorly run contest is the fault of what happens backstage.
I need 2 men to sit at a table where the quartets sign in. After checking in, the quartet will be assigned to and escorted to their warm up room. I need 3-4 men to go fetch the quartets when they are due to go on stage and escort them to their warm stage. I need 1 man to sit on stage left and help quartets off stage and into the audience after they have sung. This job is not physically challenging.
If I don’t get volunteers, I will just start picking out guys from the chorus. Remember, backstage is an easier job than setting up risers. Bill Slack
What is Your Favorite Christmas Chorus Memory |
The working title for our 2025 Christmas Show is, "Christmas Memories, Does This Ring a Bell With You?" What is your favorite Christmas Chorus memory? For Johnny Jackson and Steve Grubb it is 'Hunch and Grunch" from the Hansel & Gretel skit in the 2003 Show (see below). For me it was from the 2011 "The Children of Christmas" Show when the stage was full of children (Click HERE to watch it).

What is your favorite Christmas Show memory? Email it to me by return email, and it might make it into this years' show as well as the Christmas Poster that I need ideas to complete. Thanks, Steve Wixson
