Thanks to all of you who are off of the paper on "Let the Rest of the World..." last week. I really appreciate it! There is a song list we will try to sing through listed for Thursday.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be off the paper by Feb. 3rd. (That's our target date) It will make our rehearsals go smoother when all of us are more focused on adding artistry to the notes and words.
We also hope to add back to our weekly rehearsals two more songs we introduced last year, "It's the Music that Brings Us Together" and "You Tell Me Your Dream." I think these will be great additions for us to have ready. (We'll get to them as soon as we can, I just wanted you to know that we have not "retired them}
Be ready for more variety being added to our weekly gatherings. If you have ideas that will make them better please let Bill Slack know.
As I've said before, I am enjoying our journey together. As we continue, we know that there will be misunderstandings, miscommunications, etc. Let's deal with them as they come up and let's make the best music together that we can make, while enjoying it together.
I'm glad many of you are better since having the virus. Hopefully, as a group, we have seen it run it's course.
I'll see YOU Thursday! Jimmy
